A few things about Ashley’s life include:

  • Ashley is paralyzed from the neck down due to a spinal cord injury sustained in a car accident at the age of 7. She also can only breathe by being connected to a ventilator at all times.

  • The car accident did not affect Ms. Moore cognitive function and intellect in any way.

  • Ashley requires her nurses to assist her in both her daily medical and social activities. She needs professional assistance with medical tasks, which we explain to applicants who qualify for an initial interview.

  • Ms. Moore does possess several pets she cares for with her assistant’s help.

  • Her day is either active, where a nurse/assistant helps Ashley drive different places to run errands, go to appointments, or socialize with family and friends, or spent at the house she owns, where she works remotely, takes time off to relax, or hosts guests. Like activities outside the home, Ms. Moore needs continuous physical support for any in-home activities.

  • Because Ashley is also the General Manager of her nursing staff, she is heavily involved in her medical care. After 25+ years of living with a physical injury, Ms. Moore is extraordinarily mindful of her health and has immense insight into the status of her body. This job is not your average home health position but more of a partnership.

  • Feel free to look through Ashley’s social media pages for a brief look into what she is all about!
